According to a statement from the office of US Senator Elizabeth Warren, Warren has written to Federal Reserve Chair nominee Kevin Warsh expressing "concern" about his performance as a Fed governor before, during, and after the 2008 financial crisis. Warren has requested Warsh to answer whether he learned anything from his tenure bailing out big banks during that time. Warren said that Warsh's performance as a Fed governor before, during, and after the 2008 financial crisis has raised concerns about his ability to steer policy direction as Fed chair. Warren has asked Warsh to provide a written response by no later than April 2nd.
