Since March, several small and medium-sized banks have issued announcements to carry out concentrated and standardized cleaning of inefficient accounts with no transactions for a long time, low balances, and mismatched identity information. At the same time, many institutions have explicitly stated that they will establish an annual routine cleaning mechanism to promote the shift of bank account management from phased special governance to long-term control.
