US President Trump announced an extension of the deadline for negotiations with Iran until 8:00 Eastern Time on April 6, stating that negotiations are ongoing and progressing very smoothly. Trump also announced an extension of the suspension of attacks on Iranian energy facilities until April 6. The new deadline was set in response to a request from the Iranian government.
