Regarding the rumors about Skoda brand launching into the Chinese market, Volkswagen China responded by stating that Skoda car sales in China will continue until mid-2026, and thereafter will still provide comprehensive warranty and after-sales service support for owners. Volkswagen China also mentioned that Skoda cars have adjusted their global strategy to focus on high-growth markets such as India and ASEAN. Additionally, Volkswagen China emphasized that China has always been the core of Volkswagen Group's global strategy. The group has nearly 40 factories in China, serving over 50 million customers, and has established the largest research and development center outside of Germany - Volkswagen Automobile Technology Co., Ltd., to continue advancing intelligent connected vehicle technology.
