Global chemical giant BASF announced that, due to the cost increase caused by the US-Iran war, the company will raise prices on more products. BASF stated that it will increase prices on its basic amine product portfolio in the European region, with the highest increase reaching up to 30%, and some products may see even higher increases. This price adjustment will take effect immediately or be implemented within the terms of existing contracts. This is the fifth price increase announcement BASF has made on its official website since the start of the war. The company once again emphasized that this is a response to the significant increase in raw material prices, energy, and logistics costs caused by the military conflict in the Middle East.
