The Sanya Consumer Complaints Board reports that a netizen claimed to have been cheated when buying durians: the vendor involved operated without a license and gave short weight, intending to impose a fine of 60,000 yuan.
On March 25, the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Sanya City, Hainan Province, issued a situation report stating that on March 22, the bureau noticed that some netizens reported a situation of "two durian pits for 150 yuan, unlicensed operation, remote-controlled ghosts", and immediately conducted an investigation in conjunction with the Sanya City Administration for Industry and Commerce. After investigation, it was found that the situation reported by the netizens was true, and the vendors involved were illegally operating without a license and providing short-weight goods. The bureau has proposed an administrative penalty of 60,000 yuan for the vendors involved according to the law.
