Guangxi Traffic Investment Group Co., Ltd.'s former party committee member and chief accountant Hu Fang was expelled from the party for serious violations of discipline and laws.

The Discipline Inspection Commission of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region announced on March 25 that, with the approval of the party committee of the autonomous region, the Discipline Inspection Commission conducted a case review and investigation on the serious violations of discipline and law by Hu Fang, former party committee member and chief accountant of Guangxi Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd. According to the investigation, Hu Fang lost his ideal and belief, betrayed his original intentions and missions, violated organizational principles, sought benefits for others and accepted money in the selection and appointment of cadres and the employment of employees; he violated the integrity bottom line by accepting gifts and money that could affect the fair execution of official duties; completely disregarding discipline and law, he "ate up enterprises" and used public power as a tool to seek private gains, used his position to seek benefits in fund approval, project contracting, job promotion for others, and illegally accepted huge amounts of property. Hu Fang seriously violated the Party's organizational discipline, integrity discipline, constituted a serious violation of duty and is suspected of bribery, and has not restrained himself or stopped after the 18th National Congress of the Party, with serious nature and adverse impact, and should be dealt with severely. In accordance with relevant regulations such as the "Regulations on the Discipline of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Administrative Punishment Law of Public Servants of the People's Republic of China," after deliberation and approval by the Standing Committee of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the autonomous region and reporting to the party committee of the autonomous region, it was decided to expel Hu Fang from the party; cancel the benefits he enjoyed in accordance with regulations; confiscate the gains obtained through violations of discipline and law; and transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorate for investigation and prosecution, along with the assets involved.
