Peru launches anti-dumping investigation on Chinese automotive tires.

On March 24, the Dumping, Subsidies, and Elimination of Non-Tariff Trade Barriers Committee of the National Competition and Intellectual Property Protection Authority of Peru announced in the official newspaper "El Peruano" that, in response to an application from Peruvian producers, an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on car tires originating from China. The investigation period for dumping is from January 2025 to December 2025, and the injury investigation period is from January 2022 to December 2025. The products involved include bias-ply car tires and radial car tires. The announcement is effective from the date of publication.
