Xinjiang Bazi Luntai Airport successfully completed its test flight and is scheduled to be open for commercial operation in June.
Yesterday, a test flight aircraft took off from Turpan Airport in Xinjiang and successfully arrived at Luntai Airport in Bazhou, Xinjiang. After completing various flight procedure verifications and safely departing, the test flight mission was successfully completed. Luntai Airport is expected to officially open for navigation in June of this year. As the 29th civilian transport airport in Xinjiang, Luntai Airport plans to open routes to Urumqi, Beijing, Chengdu, Xi'an, and other cities. It is expected to achieve an annual passenger throughput of 300,000 and an annual cargo throughput of 600 tons by 2030, further promoting the improvement of the aviation network in southern Xinjiang and injecting new energy into the high-quality development of the region.
