The Hunan Province government holds working talks with BYD.

According to Hunan Daily, on the afternoon of March 24, the Hunan Provincial Government and BYD Co., Ltd. held a working meeting in Changsha. Mao Weiming, Deputy Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Governor, and Wang Chuanfu, Chairman and President of BYD, attended the meeting. Mao Weiming said he hoped that BYD would further play a leading role in the industry, allocate more high-end manufacturing and R&D innovation sectors in Hunan, continue to expand production capacity in Hunan based on its industrial foundation and educational advantages, optimize the layout of the entire industry chain, attract more value chain partners and innovation platforms to settle in Hunan, and help Hunan build a globally competitive new energy automotive industry cluster. Wang Chuanfu said BYD would further increase investment and layout in Hunan, apply more innovative products and technologies such as the second generation of blade batteries and fast charging technology in Hunan, and create a "City of Fast Charging" to jointly promote the high-quality development of the new energy automotive industry.
