On the 23rd, Juao Moreira Da Silva, Executive Director of the United Nations Department of Political Affairs, stated that the conflict between the US and Iran has been ongoing for nearly a month, and the situation in the Middle East continues to escalate. Its severe impact has crossed the borders of conflict-affected countries, leading to an exponential increase in oil, fuel, and natural gas prices, causing a shock to the world economy. He stated, "Our world is currently in the most violent period since World War II," with the number of displaced and forced to flee their homes increasing every hour. He called on all parties to implement all resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and to end this chaos and the suffering of the people through diplomatic and peaceful means.
