On March 24, Long Yongtu, former Vice Minister of Commerce and Chief Negotiator for China's accession to the WTO, stated during the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference in 2026 that currently many countries around the world are implementing policies to attract foreign investment, leading to intense competition. China, however, has two major advantages in attracting foreign investment: first, China has established a complete network system of supply chains and industrial chains within the global manufacturing system, allowing foreign enterprises to enter China and expand globally; second, China possesses abundant talent resources, allowing foreign enterprises to fully benefit from the talent dividend. He expressed his hope that foreign enterprises can make full use of these two advantages, not only earning profits and enhancing their global influence, but also promoting China's development.
