Shenzhen: Promoting the intergenerational upgrade of optical modules from 800G to 1.6T/3.2T, supporting the landing of mass production projects for 800G and above optical modules.

Recently, the Shenzhen Industrial and Information Technology Bureau issued the "Action Plan to Accelerate the High-Quality Development of the Artificial Intelligence Server Industry Chain in Shenzhen", proposing to promote the intergenerational upgrade of optical modules from 800G to 1.6T/3.2T, and support the landing of mass production projects of 800G and above optical modules; focusing on the development of high-speed, low-power consumption silicon optical modules, CPO/LPO/NPO packaged optical modules, promoting breakthroughs and scale applications of core technologies such as high-end thin film lithium niobate and high-end indium phosphide; promoting the evolution and industrial application of all-optical switching technology, and enhancing the independent research and development capabilities of core materials, optical chips, and optical devices.
