Iran claims to have carried out strikes against the US military base at Erbil Airport in Iraq.

According to a report by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting on the 24th, the Iranian military launched missile strikes on the US military bases at Erbil International Airport in the Kurdistan Autonomous Region of Iraq, as well as on the "separatist forces supported by Israel." The report cited an announcement from the Iranian military that the targeted area is one of the important logistics support and operational command centers for US forces, equipped with various military equipment, and is also a "separatist forces stronghold" that threatens the security of Iran's western and northwestern borders. The announcement did not mention casualties or specific losses resulting from the strike. On the same day, the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq issued a statement saying that the military base of the Kurdish Freedom Fighters Organization in the capital of the region, Erbil, was hit by 6 Iranian missiles, resulting in 6 deaths and 30 injuries.
