On March 24th local time, according to documents from the US Department of Treasury, the US Office of Foreign Assets Control issued General License No. 53, allowing, under certain conditions, the provision of goods and services to Venezuelan government official entities in the US. This license authorizes transactions related to Venezuelan diplomatic and consular missions in the US and international organizations, including the provision of goods and services for their official business or personnel. It also allows US financial institutions to provide accounts, credit, and fund transfer services to these entities and individuals, but does not cover real estate transactions or other illegal activities.
