Recently, Tencent has intensively recruited several key technical talents from the original ByteDance Seed team. These personnel report directly to Tencent's Chief AI Scientist, Yao Shunyu. The core personnel who have joined Tencent this time include the former Seed Visual AI Platform leader Xiao Xuefeng, Infra team member Zhang Chi, training Infra team leader Huang Qi, and RL Algorithm team leader Yuan Yufeng. Xiao Xuefeng has been appointed as the assistant director of Tencent's newly established AI Infra department, assisting Yao Shunyu in managing the department, while the others have also been appointed to key positions in Tencent's large model-related departments.
