The Party Committee of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC) held a meeting to firmly support the decision of the Party Central Committee to conduct disciplinary investigations and supervision on Zhou Liang.

On the afternoon of March 24th, the Party Committee of the National Financial Supervision and Administration Commission held a meeting to report on the serious disciplinary and legal violations of Zhou Liang and the relevant situation of accepting disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervision Commission. The comrades present unanimously expressed their firm support for the decision of the Party Central Committee and the decision of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and National Supervision Commission. The Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the National Financial Supervision and Administration Commission, Li Yunze, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting pointed out that the disciplinary review and supervision investigation of Zhou Liang for serious disciplinary and legal violations by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervision Commission fully demonstrates the firm determination of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core to continuously promote comprehensive and strict governance of the Party. It fully reflects the clear attitude of our party to maintain a high-pressure stance against corruption, resolutely combat corruption and punish those who are corrupt, and fully releases a strong signal of advancing the wind purification, discipline governance, and anti-corruption efforts without stopping or retreating. Party organizations at all levels within the system of the Commission and the vast number of party members and cadres must resolutely unify their thoughts and actions to the spirit of the decisions of the Party Central Committee, always maintaining a high degree of consistency with the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core in their thoughts, politics, and actions, continuously enhancing their political judgement, political understanding, and political implementation, and resolutely supporting the "two upholds" and firmly implementing the "two safeguards" with practical actions.
