Amid increasing volatility in the foreign exchange market, top global financial stability oversight bodies are considering conducting a detailed study on foreign exchange derivatives this year to address new vulnerabilities. The Financial Stability Board (FSB) annual report released on Tuesday said that a report on private credit will also be completed this year, with the possibility of further research in this area. The FSB also plans to conduct research on non-bank lending and cryptocurrency assets by 2026.
