Tianjin: Strive to reach a total of 700 intelligent factories in the city by the end of the year.

On March 24th, the Tianjin "Artificial Intelligence + Manufacturing" Promotion Conference with the theme of "Tianjin Colors Change, Wisdom Empowers" was held at the Tiankai Higher Education Science and Technology Innovation Park. Xia Qinglin, director of the Tianjin Municipal Industrial and Information Technology Bureau, stated that Tianjin will further improve the intelligent factory gradient cultivation system, striving to reach a total of 700 intelligent factories in the city by the end of 2026. Xia Qinglin pointed out that Tianjin will deepen integration from four aspects: solidifying the foundation of integration empowerment, cultivating industrial cluster models, expanding the scale of high-quality data sets; promoting the intelligent upgrade of key industries, improving the digital transformation guidelines for industries such as steel, petrochemicals, equipment manufacturing, and biopharmaceuticals; improving the intelligent factory gradient cultivation system, promoting breakthroughs in leading intelligent factories; optimizing the integrated development ecosystem, issuing precise support policies for enterprises, and reducing the costs of using algorithms, models, and data for companies.
