In the first two months, beauty and cosmetic exports from Shanghai increased by 22.4%.

According to statistics from Shanghai Customs, the export of beauty cosmetics and personal care products in Shanghai reached 990 million yuan in the first two months of this year, an increase of 22.4% year-on-year. As one of the most important gathering places for the cosmetics industry in Shanghai, Fengxian District's "East Beauty Valley" has performed outstandingly, with exports of related products reaching 310 million yuan in the first two months, an increase of 48.1% year-on-year. On June 30th of last year, the General Administration of Customs officially released eleven measures to support the high-quality development of the cosmetics industry in "East Beauty Valley," focusing on optimizing inspection processes, innovating supervision models, and improving service efficiency. Among them, cosmetics export enterprises can enjoy policy benefits such as remote on-site inspections and a 50% reduction in finished product sampling, effectively reducing their research and development and customs clearance costs.
