In the first two months of this year, the scale of foreign trade in the Yangtze River Economic Belt reached a historical high for the same period. According to customs statistics, the total value of imports and exports in 11 provinces and cities reached 3.64 trillion yuan, an increase of 19% year-on-year, accounting for 47.1% of the total import and export value of the country. Among them, imports were 1.32 trillion yuan and exports were 2.32 trillion yuan. In terms of markets, cooperation with countries along the "Belt and Road" initiative continues to deepen, accounting for 46.7% of the total import and export value with these countries. In terms of products, the proportion of "newly included items" continues to increase, accounting for 48.7% of the total import and export value of high-tech products in the country.
