Due to the economic losses caused by the Middle East conflict, Israel's Gross Domestic Product shrank by 8.6% in the two years leading up to 2025. This data includes the wars with Hamas in Gaza and operations in Lebanon, but does not include the losses caused by the ongoing US-Israeli conflict with Iran. This war not only triggered a humanitarian crisis resulting in the deaths of thousands of Palestinians, but also led to a deterioration in Israel's relations with many other countries. Israel's exports to some EU member states also declined during the war.
