Google's Wing will begin drone delivery service in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Google's drone delivery startup, Wing, will begin residential delivery services in the San Francisco Bay Area in the coming months. The company focuses on speeding up the "last mile" of delivery and launching services in San Francisco is part of its expansion plan across the United States. Wing has completed over 750,000 doorstep deliveries in cities including Houston, Atlanta, and Dallas. Founded in 2012, Wing was initially part of Google X's "Moonshot Factory." It started testing at Google's campus in Mountain View and then expanded to other communities in the Bay Area.
