In 2025, the scale of government-guaranteed business in Guangdong Province exceeded 100 billion for the first time.

On March 23, the Guangdong Provincial Local Financial Supervision Bureau and four other departments issued the "Action Plan on Improving the Government Financing Guarantee System to Support the Implementation of the Five Major Financial Measures". Data shows that by 2025, the scale of government guarantee business in Guangdong Province will surpass one trillion yuan for the first time, reaching 110 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of over 24% which is a historical high; the policy guarantee rate has dropped to 0.83%, driving the comprehensive financing cost of small and micro enterprises down by 10% year-on-year, with an average guarantee amount of about 900,000 yuan per household, stabilizing employment for over 1 million people in small and micro enterprises and individual businesses.
