The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and six other departments have deployed work to crack down on counterfeit agricultural supplies for the spring farming season in 2026.

On March 23, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the China National Supply and Marketing Cooperative Federation jointly held a video conference in Beijing to deploy the work of cracking down on fake agricultural materials for the spring farming and preparation in 2026. The meeting emphasized that this year is the beginning year of the "14th Five-Year Plan", and we must do our utmost to crack down on fake agricultural materials, continue to ensure the supply of agricultural materials, and ensure the safety of grain and agricultural production. The current spring farming and preparation is gradually starting from south to north, and it is necessary to quickly carry out special inspections, strengthen the supply of spring farming materials, and ensure that the quality of agricultural materials is qualified. Special rectification will be carried out for issues such as "scam groups" of agricultural materials, illegal production, and use of banned or restricted pesticides, and non-standard plastic film. We will coordinate the promotion of online agricultural material supervision, intensify sampling inspections and law enforcement efforts, promptly announce typical cases of violations, create a high-pressure situation of strict punishment according to law, and further regulate the order of agricultural materials market.
