The State Council Information Office held a press conference this afternoon, during which the State Intellectual Property Office and other departments introduced the implementation of the special action plan for patent transformation and utilization. During the special action period, a total of over 2,700 universities and research institutions nationwide completed an inventory of 1.349 million existing patents for the first time, screening out 680,000 invention patents with good conversion prospects, and accurately connecting with 460,000 enterprises. Organized over 16,000 roadshow activities such as "Intellectual Property Service Tour" across the country, facilitating patent transactions worth over 15 billion yuan.
