US Treasury yields rise 10-year Treasury yield hits new high since July.
According to Tradeweb's data, US Treasury bond yields rose across the board during the Asian trading session, with the 10-year bond yield rising to 4.423%, its highest level since July 2025, before retreating slightly from that level. Oil prices remained high, with Brent crude oil trading at $113.37. Jens Naervig Pedersen of Danske Bank said in a report, "Over the weekend, mixed messages were coming out regarding the prospects of war in the US, further military actions, and tensions around the Strait of Hormuz, indicating that the Middle East remains volatile." The 10-year US Treasury bond yield was last reported at 4.417%, up 2.5 basis points. The 2-year US Treasury bond yield rose by 5.6 basis points to 3.949%.
