Spot gold has returned to zero gains this year, falling more than 4% intraday.

Spot gold fell more than 4% intraday, now trading at $4309.5 per ounce. Excluding the full-year gain in 2026, the annual gain in spot gold this year has reached a peak of nearly 30%.
