Rolls-Royce responds to the cancellation of the pure electric plans: Affected by global policies, but still insists on electrification.
On March 23, in response to the news that Rolls-Royce has "cancelled its plan to become an all-electric brand by 2030," Rolls-Royce China told reporters that the brand's plan to continue launching electrified models remains unchanged, and electrification is still the direction of the brand's development. Due to changes in global policies and regulations, the lifecycle of Rolls-Royce's V12 engine will be extended for another 10 years. Rolls-Royce China stated that recent policy adjustments mean that companies will not be required to stop production of V12 engines by 2030. However, the electrified Rolls-Royce models have demonstrated better quietness, power performance, and driving experience during development, and their commercialization has also achieved some success.
