The 40th Sino-Vietnamese joint patrol in the Gulf of Tonkin has successfully concluded.

The 40th Sino-Vietnamese Joint Patrol in the Beibu Gulf successfully concluded on March 20. The joint patrol lasted for two days, with the Chinese Navy vessels Hengyang and Enshi, and the Vietnamese Navy ships Chen Xingdao and Li Taizu participating. During the patrol, the two sides also conducted joint escort, anti-piracy, and search and rescue training exercises.
