Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to the Tenth Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States.

On March 21, the 10th Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) was held in Colombia, the rotating chair country, and President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to the summit. Xi Jinping pointed out that since its establishment, CELAC has been committed to promoting peace, stability, and development in Latin America and the Caribbean region, injecting new vitality into solidarity and cooperation among the Global South and common development. In May last year, the Fourth Ministerial Meeting of the China-CELAC Forum was successfully held in Beijing. I attended the opening ceremony and announced the launch of five major projects in solidarity, development, civilization, peace, and people-to-people exchanges between China and Latin America, which received positive responses from Latin American countries. Over the past year, China and Latin America have closely collaborated to deepen and implement the five major projects, bringing tangible benefits to the peoples of both sides. Xi Jinping emphasized that China will always be a good friend and partner of Latin American and Caribbean countries, support them in safeguarding their sovereignty, security, and development interests, and work hand in hand with Latin American countries to defend international fairness and justice, and jointly create a new chapter in building a community of shared future between China and Latin America.
