Shougang and China FAW successfully collaborated on the research and development of 2.4GPa-class ultra-high-strength hot-formed steel.

Recently, Shougang and China FAW successfully collaborated to complete the development and application verification of 2.4GPa-level hot-formed steel. The successful development of this material marks China's entry into the global leading position in the application of high-performance automotive steel. The 2.4GPa-level hot-formed steel will be first applied to key safety structural components of Hongqi models.
