Many mainstream brands have announced price reductions, with price cuts generally ranging from 10% to 20%. During interviews, reporters found that after badminton prices were lowered, the flow of customers in badminton halls significantly increased, and the sales of badminton also increased. The price reduction effect has also spread to the training market. Reporters learned that a badminton club located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, has a large monthly consumption of badminton, and although the price reduction of training shuttles is limited, overall costs are reduced. The core material of traditional badminton is the "quill" feathers on goose and duck wings, which accounts for more than 70% of production costs, and even reaches 80% for high-end shuttles. Since October 2025, the price of quill feathers has been falling, resulting in a reduction in the production costs of badminton. Furthermore, after the decrease in raw material costs, the competitiveness of domestic badminton in the international market has enhanced, with a significant increase in orders from Southeast Asia, Europe, and other regions.
