According to the Shenzhen railway department, train tickets for the first day of the Qingming Festival holiday in 2026 were officially on sale on March 21, and tickets for the last day of the holiday will go on sale on March 23. The railway transportation period for this Qingming Festival holiday is from April 3 to April 7, totaling 5 days. The Shenzhen railway department expects to send 1.814 million passengers, with Shenzhen North Station expected to send 1.188 million passengers. The passenger flow is mainly for short distance tomb sweeping and outings, with tourism as a supplementary, showing the characteristics of "concentrated travel in the early stage, increasing speed, and relatively smooth return journey in the later stage."
