The total number of electric vehicle charging facilities in our country exceeds 21 million.

On the 21st, it was learned from the National Energy Administration that, according to data from the national electric vehicle charging infrastructure monitoring service platform, as of the end of February 2026, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in China has reached 21.01 million. Among them, there are 4.834 million public charging facilities, with a total rated power of 229 million kilowatts, and an average power of about 47.41 kilowatts; there are 16.176 million private charging facilities, with a total installed electricity capacity of 1.41 billion kilovolt-amperes.
