According to Reuters, the US Department of Defense will establish Palantir Technologies' Maven artificial intelligence system as a "recorded project". Currently, the Department of Defense is rapidly integrating this technology into its combat operations. Deputy Secretary of Defense Steve Feinberg announced this policy decision in a letter to other defense officials. Feinberg stated that the designation of "recorded project" will help the Maven system to be integrated across all branches of the military. Palantir's Maven intelligence system is a digital mission control platform that has already been deployed in the early stages of the Iran war to assist in attacking 1000 targets.
