China Electric Construction Corporation signs contract for Abu Dhabi light storage project in the UAE, with a contract amount of approximately 13.962 billion yuan.

On March 20, according to China Electric Power Construction, China Electric Power Construction recently officially signed the EPC contract for the UAE Abu Dhabi RTC2.1 GW + 7.75 GW Solar + Storage Project. It is reported that the entire project is divided into two blocks, with China Electric Power Construction responsible for the northern block, including a 2.1 GW DC-side photovoltaic installation and a 7.75 GW energy storage system. The scope of work includes substation civil construction, design, procurement and construction of photovoltaic and energy storage areas, with a contract value of approximately RMB 13.962 billion.
