Two international standards for motor capacitors for AC drives led by our country have been established.

Today, it was learned from the National Standards Committee that two international standard revision proposals, "Part 1: General" and "Part 2: Starting Capacitors for AC Motor Capacitors", proposed by China, have been officially approved by the International Electrotechnical Commission. This is an important practice for China to deeply participate in the development of international rules in the field of motor capacitors, and to promote technological iteration and upgrade, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the global motor capacitor industry. The two standards revised in this project fully absorb the latest achievements in material application, design optimization, safety performance, and other aspects in the industry in recent years, and are a concentrated embodiment of China's long-term engineering practice and technological innovation in the field of motor capacitors. The revised standards will further improve technical requirements such as destructive tests, ball pressure tests, and provide more scientific and rigorous technical basis for the design, manufacturing, quality control, and safe application of motor capacitors worldwide.
