Xi'an: By the end of 2027, 20 major logistics infrastructure projects and logistics facility equipment renewal and renovation projects will be completed and put into operation.

The website of the People's Government of Xi'an City has released the "Implementation Plan for Effectively Reducing the Overall Logistics Costs of the Whole Society in Xi'an City". The plan proposes that by the end of 2027, the ratio of the city's total social logistics costs to regional GDP will be reduced to within 13.5%, transportation costs will be significantly reduced, the structure of goods transportation will be further optimized, railway freight volume will reach over 7 million tons, and air cargo throughput will reach 360,000 tons. Warehousing costs will be effectively reduced, 20 major logistics infrastructure projects and logistics facility renovation projects will be completed and put into use, and the level of digitization, intelligence, and greenization of logistics hardware facilities will be improved. Management costs will continue to decrease, with 130 logistics companies at the national level of 4A or above, 70 new large logistics companies, and a more complete modern logistics hub network operating system, achieving significant results in reducing the overall social logistics costs.
