Hainan to implement the illegal lottery reporting reward system next month, with a maximum reward of 10,000 yuan.

In order to further regulate the order of the lottery market in Hainan Province, mobilize social forces to jointly crack down on illegal lotteries, and maintain the healthy development of public welfare lottery business, the "Hainan Province Measures for Reporting and Rewarding the Crackdown on Illegal Lotteries" will be officially released and implemented from April 1, 2026. The "Measures" establishes a tiered reward mechanism, determining the amount of rewards based on factors such as the nature of the case and the level of assistance in capturing individuals: for cases confirmed as public security cases, rewards range from 200 to 2,000 yuan per case; for cases confirmed as criminal cases, rewards range from 10,000 to 100,000 yuan per case; for reporting and assisting in capturing fugitives, rewards range from 5,000 to 30,000 yuan per person.
