March 20th: The "Wholesale Agricultural Product Price Index 200" decreased by 0.14 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on March 20, the "Farm Produce Wholesale Price 200 Index" was 122.09, a decrease of 0.14 points compared to yesterday, and the "Basket of Vegetables" product wholesale price index was 123.65, a decrease of 0.16 points compared to yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market was 15.98 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.8% compared to yesterday; beef was 66.54 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% compared to yesterday; mutton was 65.09 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.9% compared to yesterday; eggs were 7.59 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.1% compared to yesterday; and white chicken was 17.37 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.5% compared to yesterday. The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.86 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% compared to yesterday; the average price of the 6 key monitored fruits was 7.70 yuan/kg, a decrease of 1.5% compared to yesterday. Crucian carp was 19.65 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% compared to yesterday; carp was 14.47 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.9% compared to yesterday; white carp was 10.45 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.1% compared to yesterday; and large yellow croaker was 42.12 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.1% compared to yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in the domestic wholesale market, the top five in terms of price increase compared to yesterday were large yellow croaker, eggplant, lettuce, celery, and lotus root, with increases of 3.2%, 2.9%, 2.2%, 2.1%, and 2.0%, respectively; and the top five in terms of price decrease were watermelon, zucchini, pear, pineapple, and pumpkin, with decreases of 4.8%, 2.7%, 2.7%, 2.5%, and 2.4%, respectively.
