India initiates anti-dumping investigation against China for Acetyl-1.

On March 19, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued a notice stating that, in response to an application submitted by the Indian domestic company Keva Fragrances Private Limited, an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on acetone originating from or imported from China. The products under investigation fall under Indian customs code 29143990. The anti-dumping investigation period is from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025, and the injury investigation periods are from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023, April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, and October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025.
