Middle East conflict escalates, European natural gas prices soar.

On March 19th local time, due to the escalation of the Middle East conflict, natural gas and oil prices in Europe surged significantly: the Dutch ownership transfer center, as the benchmark for European natural gas prices, saw a more than 30% increase in April futures prices at the opening, to over 70 euros per megawatt hour, more than doubled compared to the level of around 32 euros before the outbreak of the conflict.
