It is reported that a full stock transaction between the two could be finalized in the coming weeks. Earlier reports suggested that Unilever was considering divesting its food business. Unilever owns skincare and haircare brands such as Dove, Vaseline, and Nexxus. Over the past decade, the company has sold off other food assets.
