The transportation plan for spring outings on the Yangtze River Delta railway starts today.

Journalists learned from the Shanghai Railway Bureau that the transportation plan for spring outings in the Yangtze River Delta railway region has been implemented today. The spring outing transportation will be from today until April 20, a total of 32 days, including 4 weekends and the "Qingming" holiday. During this period, the Yangtze River Delta railway is expected to transport 91 million passengers, with an average of 2.85 million passengers per day, an increase of about 5% compared to the same period last year, setting a new record for the number of passengers transported during the spring outing season. The railway department plans to increase the number of temporary passenger trains by 40 pairs to meet the strong travel demand of passengers.
