The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index opened down more than 3%. NVIDIA stock fell 1.74%, TSMC stock fell 3.07%, Broadcom stock fell 1.82%, ASML stock fell 2.98%, and Micron Technology stock fell 7.63%.
