According to news from Xiaomi Motors, the new generation SU7 door handle is designed for safety, 100% compliant with the new national standard for 2027. It features a triple safety redundancy design: an external mechanical door handle that automatically unlocks after a collision, allowing emergency door opening from the outside; a redundant backup power supply for the door lock, enabling normal unlocking after a collision; and an emergency mechanical door handle inside the car, allowing the door to be opened without the need for unlocking from inside the vehicle.
