WeChat Security Center issues a governance notice on the misuse of AI-generated content services to spread malicious links.

The WeChat Safety Center issued a statement stating that recently, through user complaints, it was discovered that black and gray market gangs have started to abuse artificial intelligence to mass-produce content services, generating web pages containing pornographic, gambling, or other illegal content in large quantities, and using platform sharing mechanisms to spread them widely. Once related content is discovered and verified, the platform will handle it in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations, as well as the "Tencent WeChat Software License and Service Agreement," "WeChat Individual Account Usage Regulations," and "WeChat External Link Content Management Regulations," as well as other platform agreements and rules, including restrictions on access to illegal links.
