Hong Kong's non-ferrous metal sector continued to decline in the afternoon, with Zhaojin Mining Industry Group falling by more than 18%, China Gold International falling by more than 9%, Zijin Mining Industry falling by more than 8%, and MMG following the decline.

Swisscanto/ZKB's head of multi-asset solutions, Roger Lueger, stated in a report that the Fed's rate cuts this year may exceed current expectations mainly due to a possible weakening in the labor market. "Our outlook differs slightly as we predict rate cuts in September and December, primarily due to a soft labor market."
