Henan Province has added 149 new national green factories, ranking third in the country in terms of the number of inclusions.

On March 18, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of green factories and green industrial parks for the year 2025. A total of 2038 new green factories and 128 green industrial parks were cultivated nationwide. Among them, Henan province had 149 factories and 13 parks on the list, ranking third in the country. Up to now, Henan has established a total of 1204 green factories and 74 green industrial parks, ranking fifth in the country in terms of national-level green factories and first among the six central provinces. The proportion of provincial-level and above green factory output in the total output of large-scale manufacturing industry is over 35%, and the construction of green manufacturing system has achieved significant results.
